CONTENTS
What is Research/Graduation Projects?
In the DEU Mechanical Engineering Department, the “ MAK4099 Research Project ” courses registered in the 7th semester and the “ MAK4098 Graduation Project ” courses registered in the 8th semester will be carried out as design/manufacturing projects covering two semesters starting from the 2017-2018 Fall semester.
Research/Graduation Projects (GRAP) will be carried out by student groups ( no individual GRP will be given ) and will be monitored throughout the year by advisor faculty member(s) and the final project outputs will be evaluated at the end of the second semester by a jury consisting of faculty members who are experts on the subject. The special situation for students who have previously taken a research project and will register for a graduation project in the 2017-2018 Fall semester is explained in the application principles.
Students who want detailed information should carefully read this page’s relevant sections, documents, and forms. They can also send their questions to makina@deu.edu.tr.
